Green card sponsoring unmarried children over 21 years old is the F2B priority category. The total waiting time for this stream is currently about 7 years.
Necessary documents for green card to sponsor children: – Copy of green card – Copy of marriage certificate (between the sponsor and the mother – if any)
- A copy of the child’s birth certificate
- The child’s divorce certificate (applicable to the case where the child is over 21 years old is divorced)
- A copy of the birth certificate of the grandchild (grandchild) – In case the child has a child.
Special note: the green card application to sponsor the child, can only sponsor the unmarried child, cannot sponsor the married child, so in the waiting time for the application If the child is over 21 years old or under 21 years old, if the child gets married, the application will be canceled at the moment the marriage is issued, although after the two people divorce, the application will also be canceled.
